Cookie policy
What this site stores in your browser, and how to choose.
Draft. To be reviewed by Dyne Auto and its lawyer before the site goes live. Last updated 22 October 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Websites also use similar storage inside the browser, such as local storage. In this policy, "cookies" means both.
How we use them
We use three kinds:
- Essential. Needed for the site to work, for example to keep your quote list. These are always on. You can block them in your browser, but the quote list and booking will not work properly.
- Analytics. Help us see how the site is used. Off unless you accept.
- Embedded content. Maps and other content from other companies. Off unless you accept.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
What is stored
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| dyne-quote2 | Essential | Keeps your quote list on your device so it is still there if you leave and come back. | Until you clear your browser data |
| dyne-consent | Essential | Remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask every time. | 12 months |
| dyne-wa-pop | Essential | Remembers you closed the WhatsApp message so it does not show again in the same visit. | Until you close the browser tab |
| Staff login | Essential | Keeps our staff signed in to the admin area. Visitors never get this. | Until sign out or session end |
| PostHog | Analytics | Counts visits and shows which pages are used, so we can improve the site. Set only if you accept. | Up to 12 months |
| Google Maps | Embedded content | Set by Google when the map on the Contact page loads. Set only if you accept. | Set by Google |
Your choices
When you first visit, we ask for your choice. You can change it at any time.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not remove your saved choice here unless you clear this site's data.
